Our Windows 2000
Network Infrastructure Administration course is designed to prepare
students to pass the MCSE Exam 70-216.
Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure Administration:
During this five-day course students will acquire the skills necessary
for effectively executing the responsibilities of a support professional
including installing, configuring, managing and supporting a network
infrastructure that uses the Windows 2000 server products.
Day 1: Introduction Microsoft Windows 2000 networking
infrastructure, automating Internet Protocol (IP) address assignment
and implementing name resolution using DNS.
Day 2: Implementing name resolution by using
WINS, configuring network security by using public key infrastructure
and configuring network security by using IPSec.
Day 3: Configuring remote access, supporting
remote access to a network and extending remote access capabilities
by using AS.
Day 4: Configuring a Windows 2000-based server
as a router, configuring internet access for a network and configuring
a web server.
Day 5: Deploying Windows 2000 Professional by
using RIS, managing a Windows 2000 network, troubleshooting Windows
2000 network services and configuring network connectivity between
operating systems.
Prerequisite: Experience with the Windows
operating system. Completion of the Windows 2000 Server course or
related experience.
